Artful Gifts III - November 3rd to January 9th
The Gilded Edge is inviting the public to shop this holiday season at Artful Gifts III, which begins November 3rd and runs through January 9th. Featured will be original artwork for sale ranging in price from $5 to $200. All are invited to enjoy a relaxing shopping environment far from the hustle and bustle of a crowded mall and complete with free refreshments.
Owners, Rose Fennell and Susan Jacobs are offering customers a handpicked variety of unique, one-of-a-kind gifts including paintings, photography, note cards, sculptures, pottery, ornaments, stained glass boxes, handmade etching-covered paper boxes and journals, books by local authors, turned bowls, soup and dip mixes, small frames, mirrors, mats for kids to decorate, gift certificates, and more. Many of this year’s Artful Gifts are created by local artists including: Carol Dunn of Bozrah, Mary La Forge of Lyme, Laurie Geltson-Alt of Colchester, Carol and Steve Watson of Bozrah, Ruth Lorentzen of Bolton, Carin Roaldset of Old Saybrook, Alan Brush of Mystic, John Irwin of Salem, Shelby Bonomo of East Hampton, and Liz Harris of Middle Haddam.
“Artful Gifts is our way of giving back to the community by showcasing local artists and providing a comfortable and inviting venue for residents to shop local,” said owner Susan Jacobs. “We have hand selected a wide variety of items to suite all tastes and fit any budget."”
