Mary La Forge at The Gilded Edge
Salem, CT (July, 2009) – The Gilded Edge Custom Framing and Gallery is pleased to present the works of nationally acclaimed artist Mary La Forge. Her paintings will be on exhibit at The Gilded Edge Custom Framing and Gallery in Salem, from July 28 through September 5th.
An artist reception will be held on August 7th from 6-9pm and is open to the public.
Mary La Forge creates a special world through watercolor and oil. Her works capture the freshness and light of the natural environment with rich yet subtle transparent colors. Mary’s love of nature is reflected in her extensive personal gardens and in her interpretations of nature. Her favorite subject matters include floral arrangements, winter landscapes and seascapes. Her love of nature is reflected in her personal flower gardens which are brilliantly showcased in the form of floral arrangements through her watercolors and oils. The realism of nature is vividly captured in Mary’s paintings.
Mary’s works are included in private and corporate collections throughout the world including Merrill Lynch, American Re-Insurance, Eden Institute and St Mary’s Foundation. Her paintings are exhibited in numerous galleries and exhibits in New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
