Salem, CT (Februar 2008) – The Gilded Edge Custom Framing and Gallery
will exhibit a collection of work by C. Susan Ferraro of Colchester. Susan's one of a kind wall
hangings and three-dimensional creatures are made with great attention to detail in a variety of
fabrics, fibers and embellishments. Her focus is directed toward animals, sea life and their vibrant
and rich surroundings. Susan is affiliated with a number of organizations including Fiber Revolution,
Studio Art Quilts Association and HGTV, “Simply Quilts” segment 1132.
Her work has been displayed in museums, quilt festivals and shows in Connecticut, Kentucky,
Maine, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Texas. Dimensions in Fiber will begin February 5th and continue
through to March 8th. The public is invited to an artist reception on Friday, Friday 15th from
6 -9 p.m. The Gilded Edge is located at 20 Hartford Rd., Salem, CT. Store hours are 10-5 T,W,F;
