Student Art Exhibit To Be On Display Through March 26th
Salem, CT ( March 16, 2005) – On Friday, March 11th, The Gilded Edge was pleased to host
an artist reception for student artists from East Lyme High School. The event was well attended
by the community and family members of art students.
The multi–media exhibit runs the artistic gamut from a high-energy rendition of a Jackson
Pollack canvas to sand-covered plaster castings. A collection of almost 60 pieces by 29 students,
the exhibit will be on display through March 26th and is open to the public during regular store
hours.
“We thank the students and their teachers for the opportunity to share their artistic efforts
with the public at our gallery. Please stop in and see these fine examples of art from the East
Lyme High School Art Program.” said Susan Jacobs, co-owner of The Gilded Edge.
