New Business Opening
Salem, CT (January 21, 2004) – The Gilded Edge, a custom framing store and
gallery, recently opened for business at 12 Salem Marketplace, Salem Four
Corners. Owners Rosemary Fennell and Susan Jacobs, residents of Colchester
and Marlborough, are pleased to offer well-designed, quality custom framing
in a professional, inviting environment. Mirrors, artwork, large-scale
laminating and other specialty services are also are available at The Gilded
Edge.
“We are very excited about The Gilded Edge. We have an extensive selection
of frames and mats, which ensures that we’ll have something to match every
customer’s unique design needs,” said Jacobs.
 The gallery space at The Gilded Edge will feature local artists. “We plan to
have three to four gallery shows a year, including a youth show featuring
work by area high school students,” said Rosemary.
The Gilded Edge is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 5pm,
Thursday from 10am to 7pm, Saturday 10am to 2pm, and by appointment by
