Four local photographers share their views through the camera's eye at The
Gilded Edge beginning June 5th and continuing to July 14, 2007.
Each artist offers a unique perspective and varying technique. Kathy Heustis of New London
creates images of natural objects and florals with a scanner while Ed Fennell of Colchester
uses a traditional 35mm camera to capture landscapes far and near. Using digital cameras, Salem
resident John Irwin focuses on the reality of New England beauty and John Houchin, a Salem
native, turns the world round and round with layered images, creating abstract collages.
