Artist Reception: Thank you to everyone who attended our November 11th artist reception.
Motivated by the extraordinary possibilities of inconsequential moments and places, Gigi recreates the ordinary into an organized array of densely textured color. She has painted in pastels and oils for over thirty years and is a Pastel Society of America Master Pastelist and a Signature Member of the Connecticut Pastel Society.
Gigi has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors including First Prize Connecticut Women Artists, Best in Show Connecticut Pastel Society, the Andrew Giffuni Memorial Award at the Pastel Society of America Annual Exhibition in 2009 and the Diane Bernhardt Gold Medal Award at the PSA Annual Exhibition in 2000. Gigi’s paintings are included in notable private and corporate collections nationally.
